One of the most interesting beaches of the island is Kolimbithres beach which lies in the North, opposite the cosmopolitan town of Naousa. Apart from the crystal-clear, transparent sea-water, the beach is also characterized by huge, granite rocks, in an unbelievable variety of shapes which form little bays. It is a unique geological phenomenon and most of these bays provide sun beds and umbrellas. Cafes and taverns as well as accommodations are available near the beach. Access is easy either by car or by boats, which depart from the port of Naousa.
