Lefkes: Lefkes is situated in the central part of Paros, 11km. southeastern of Parikia. The village is built amphitheatrically on the hills and it is considered one of the most beautiful and traditional settlements on the island. During the Middle Ages, it used to be the capital of Paros. With a population of approximately 500 inhabitants, the village is covered in olive trees and eucalyptus. The visitor here can admire the small white houses, the ruined windmills and the excellent pigeon-lofts.
