Santorini Airport  Flights ticket to Santorini

The airport of Santorini is located near the beach of Monolithos (Agia Paraskevi), 8 kilometres South East of Fira, the island's capital.
The transfer time between Fira and the airport is about twenty minutes by bus.
Santorini Island proposes a public bus for the transfers between the airport and Fira but it can't be easily catched.
There are also many taxis transfers  that can assure the transfer to/from any part of the island.
Also all  hotels assure the transfer with their mini buses.

The improvement of Santorini Airport was achieved through a series of upgrading works-already brought into operation-not only in the Air Terminal building (check-in-counters, conveyer belts, escalator), but also in the rest of the Airport's plants (lighting of the apron, fencing, surrounding area), with a budget amounting to 1.150.000 Euro. Santorini Airport is now composed of the Air Terminal building (2,510 sq.m.), the main runway (16-34,2,120m.X30m.) and the 16.000 sq.m. aircraft parking apron (two aircraft capacity).
