The Government owned Airport CHIOS,the Airport code of Chios are JKH, is found in the coastal area of Eastern department  of island, in southern utmost the city and 3 kilometers from its Chios Center.
Its operation began on 4 August 1969, with the landing of plane of OLYMPIC AIRWAYS,
flight 560, and today serves the passenger movement of interior and flights of abroad
during Tourist season. The building infrastructure of airport of is total surface 800 m2. The orientation ofcorridor of landing of is 01-19 length 1500m and width 30m. The flooring of quartering
