Naxos Island and Locations :Mikri Vigla :
To the Southwest of the island, 15 klm from Naxos town, lies the beautiful resort of Mikri Vigla. This settlement is dominated by a cave which overlooks the Aegean Sea. As you stand on the cave and face the Aegean, on your right you will see the Parthena beach and on your left the beach of Sahara. Both beaches are organized with excellent sand and clear sea.
The first beach is prefered by wind surfers due to the Meltemi wind which comes from the North whereas the second one is not affected by this Northern wind, and , therefore, is prefered by people who want to swim.
