If you want quiet holidays, go to the peaceful Abrami resort, north of Naxos town. The settlement lies above a bay which overlooks the beautiful Aegean Sea, with some nice accommodation and a nice taverna.
The beautiful, sandy beach has crystal-clear sea-water but it is affected by the Meltemi wind, which comes from the North.
Ambrami beach (25 klm. from Hora) is a wonderful beach for swimming, with crystal clear  water. There is a taverna next to the sea. Close to the bay is the monastery of  Phaneromeni (17th century), with rare icons
