Mykonos Town, or chora as it is called in Greek, is the island's capital where everything takes place.

During the day you can walk on the stone-paved alleys and admire the whitewashed houses, you can do special shopping in a number of, famous or less famous, stores, thanks to three different bus stations you can go to any beach or walk to nearby beaches like the Megali Ammos beach, which is a ten-minute-walk from the town, and you can enjoy your drink or meal either to a beautiful,local taverna or to a more cosmopolitan restaurant. Accommodation is available for every pocket and at night, if you want full entertainment, then Mykonos town is the 'place' for it's famous for its exciting nightlife.Also, for those who love history, in Mykonos town there is an archaeological museum with artefacts dating from the Prehistoric to the late Hellenistic period (25th-1st century) and a place where you can make a daytrip to the archaeological site of Delos island.,
