The village Vourgareli goes down from altitude of 800 metres to the river Arachthos, which is built amphitheatrically between two hills full of firs. The last big destruction for the village happened the period of the possession 1941-1944. The village bombed and the biggest department of the village was destroyed. After the war the residents built their houses from the beginning and tried re-built once again the entire village. Today the Vourgareli is once again pole of attraction for the tourists, because the beauties of the landscape and of the activities in the environment that someone can admire become with epicentre the riverArachthos. Characteristic sightseeing of the village is the two stone doors, that the residents named them with traditional female names "the Archonto» and «the Krystallo”. Interests are the old stone bridges of the region, with more beautiful the Fairytale bridge. Ruins of the old citadel there are in the place Palaiochori Tsouka. Appreciable is the folklore museum of Karalis in the neighbouring village Beehive (Kypseli).
