The village of Vizitsa is situated 46km. away from Volos, built at an altitude of 320m. All houses follow the traditional architectural style, while many of the old mansions operate as pensions. The village is protected by the Greek state for this unique architecture.
Every year, three festivals take place here with plenty of wine, Greek dancing and music. Not far away from the village, the visitor may reach the beautiful cave of Chiron Centaur. In Vizitsa, there is a great choice of hotels, tavernas, cafeterias and bars.
