Velouhi, also known as Tymphristos, is the third highest mountain of Central Greece. Today, it is considered as being one of the most popular holiday destinations, especially during winter. In order to get to Velouhi, one has to first reach Karpenissi.The visitor can find here a great variety of hotels, cafeterias and restaurants. What makes Velouhi so special, besides its natural beauty, is the ski center with twelve ski slopes of different difficulty. More precisely, the ski center is situated at an altitude of 1,840m. at the location called «Diavolotopos», meaning «Devil’s place».
