The village of Tilissos is situated 13km. away from Heraklio, on the mountainsides of Psiloritis, not far away from the sea. It has a population of approximately 1,000 inhabitants and its name remains the same since the Minoan period.
The visitors may find here a single hotel, various rooms to let, as well as, several traditional tavernas and cafeterias.
