The coastal town of Stilida lies on the foot of mountain Othris, at the center of a vast olive grove. Situated 17km. away from Lamia, it has a population of approximately 5,400 inhabitants. Stilida is the commercial port of Fthiotida, built on the site of the ancient town of Falares. It is worth visiting the springs of «Sapounorema» forming a small waterfall. At a close distance, the visitor can, also, find caves and hunting lodges.
If you come to the town do not forget to try the delicious local olives. Here, you shall find several tavernas and cafeterias.
