The capital town of Skopelos, also known as Chora, is one of the most beautiful ones in the whole of Greece with narrow cobbled streets and traditional white-washed houses. There are more than 120 Byzantine churches to visit, while the view from the ruins of the 13th century Venetian fortress cannot be described by words. The town has a population of approximately 3,000 inhabitants.
The visitor may find here all sorts of facilities including hotels, apartments, restaurants, cafeterias, nightclubs and commercial shops.
