Samothraki is found in north-eastern utmost Aegean seas. It is the homeland of "winged VICTORY of Samothraki" the famous statue that adorns the museum of Louvre in Paris. It has surface 180 square kilometers and the mountain Saos with the taller top height 1614 meters,
 dominates in entire Aegean Sea. Samothraki has 12 villages and settlements. Capital of island is »Country" (Hora). Hora is characterized by the traditional settlement built theatrical in altitude of 210-250 m. It abstains 6 kilometers from the harbor of Kamariotissa. A village with clearly marine orientation and increased tourist movement. Samothraki is rich in waters. It is the only island with so much sources of crystal water shaping a lot of streams, waterfalls and small rivers.
