The port town of Rafina is situated on the eastern coast of Attica, (30km. away), with a population of approximately 11,300 inhabitants. On the west side of Rafina lies the river of Kifissos.
From the port of Rafina, (the second largest of Attica), the visitor can take the ferry to Evia, as well as most of the Cyclades. The long beach is ideal for swimming with crystal clear waters, being awarded with the Blue Flag. Additionally, there are some small, secluded beaches stretching from Agios Nikolaos to the Blue Harbor, («Ble Limanaki» in Greek).
If you come to Rafina, do not miss taking a walk towards Agios Nikolaos, the trademark of the area. The view from here cannot described by words.
Rafina, offers a great variety of hotels, apartments, cafeterias and tavernas. Also, on the beach of Kokkino Limanaki, (Red Harbor), there is a fully organized camping site.
