The village of Platy is situated 2km. southeastern of the town of Myrina. Built on a hill, is one of the oldest villages with a population of approximately 700 inhabitants.
The visitor can find here a great number of hotels, tavernas and traditional cafeterias.
Platy is one of the most beautiful and most popular organized beaches in Limnos, due to its golden sand and crystal clear waters.
Platy (Greek: Πλατý) is a small village on Lemnos island in Greece. It is located between the village of Thanos and the main city, Myrina. The village of Thanos is Platy's rival village.
The village's population during the winter is about 200 people, and in summer it's about 600.
