The small town of Pili lies at the passage separating two of the rocky bulks of the Pindos mountain. The whole of the area is surrounded by tall plane-trees, while all houses follow the traditional architectural style. Pili is situated 18km. away from Trikala, with a population of approximately 4,500 inhabitants. Only 1km. away from the town, the visitor can admire the arched stone bridge of «Kamara», built in the year of 1514, 967m. long).
