PERAMA
Perama is a popular coastal tourist settlement that is found in the southern side of Corfu, precisely opposite of the Pontikonisi, with which it connects with a bridge. It abstains 8 km roughly from the city. Characteristic of this region is that it is surrounded by immense olive groves and allocates beautiful coastlines.It is a resort opposite Kanoni peninsula joined to it by a narrow strip of land ideal for walks or cycle rides. There are several hotels and rooms to let offering the view on Vlacherna. Being close to the airport, can be advantage and disadvantage at the same time, depending on your own preference. The resort is the closest one from the south road to Corfu Town and therefore being very popular among tourists wishing to stay near the town, especially during the Easter season. Perama resort is not very busy. Few mini markets and restaurants are at your disposal, for shopping and a busier nightlife you will have to go to the town. Car rental is highly recommended.
