The municipality of Paralia is standing west of Patra and is the smallest municipality in Achaia. Roitika and Mintilogli belong to Paralia and are both locations across the coastline. Mintilogli is situated at an altitude of 200m, 3Klm away from the sea. Amphitheatrically built, viewing the Patraikos Gulf and the mountains of Etolo-karnania this is a marvelous village with verdulous slopes around, vineyards and olive trees. Visit the temple of Saint- George located at the acropolis of the village to enjoy the panoramic view. Also visit the monastery Meta-morfosi Sotiros and the monastery Analipseos builted before 1699 and rebuilted in 1703. The entrances of the cells are saved as well as remainings of the entrance. You will have the chance of enjoying one of the most beauti-ful sunsets in Greece with the most peculiar colours and shapes. Do see the lordy mansions which are standing across the coastline and are known as English and have rare architecture. The territory is known for the good quality of wine and the known bars that gathered people from all over Greece.
