Ormos: Ormos, is the natural harbor of the island, situated in the bay of the same name, 2km. away from the Ios town. It is the second most populated area. Behind the port climbs the old stairway to the town, (20 minutes walking).

Ormos is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of a mountain, covered in whitewashed houses and hotels.
Near the port there is the area of Gialos, full of restaurants and beach bars with a beautiful sandy beach, ideal for swimming.
