Orei is situated on the north side of the island, 135km. away from Chalkida. The village was named after ancient Oreo and, today, it has a population of approximately 1,500 inhabitants. In the picturesque port the visitor can enjoy fresh fish in the traditional tavernas. The beach is beautiful with crystal clear waters, ideal for those wishing to relax away from the crowds. In the center of the village, you can find all sort of facilities, including hotels, cafeteria and small commercial shops.
