The town of Naoussa is situated 20km. away from Veria, having a population of approximately 20,000 inhabitants. Naoussa is a well-known agricultural and industrial center, retaining, thus, its traditional colours. Here, the visitor may discover unique natural beauties, such as the waterfalls formed by Arapitsa river flowing through the town. Of great significance is, also, the Municipal Park with its artificial lake. For the lovers of ski, there are two fully-organized ski centers, namely, «Selli»and «Tria-Pente Pigadia».
