Myrties: Myrties is one of the most popular areas of Kalymnos, located on the western coast of the island, north-west of Pothia, the capital.
Myrties owns its name to the many myrtle-trees  embellishing the village. The area is famous for the huge rock emerging behind the settlement. The village has a satisfying number of hotels, taverns and cafes, as well as a fine pebbled beach.
