Molyvos, also known as Mithymna, is situated on the north coast of Lesvos. It is, indeed, a town of stunning beauty and historical importance. Molyvos is set on a small mountain, topped by an extraordinary medieval castle. The main street of the settlement is made of cobbled stone, while all around are scattered beautiful, traditional houses and shops of all kind.

Finally, Molyvos is very close to the beach resort of Eftalou with its thermal springs.
