Molaoi: Molaoi means the town of turnstiles and is one of the oldest towns in Laconia. We find it on the south part, near the Laconic Gulf, where the first inhabitants builted their community which today is called Panagitsa. Because of the mountains and river Evrotas the ground is very fertile and that was the main reason the first inhabitants were drawn there. They builted watermills and founded a self-serving community. Today, during summertime the town gathers many visitors with Elia and Plystra the most popular beaches. Molaoi produces figs, almonds and olive-oil and during springtime when the almond trees blossom we find ourselves in front of a magestic scenery. The sea and the view to the low land will capture your heart. You can also visit the gorge of Larnaka Molaon.
