Merichas: Merichas, situated on the western part of Kythnos, is the island’s port and the haven of Driopida. It is only 8km. away from the capital town with cafeterias, a few tavernas, rooms to let and a single hotel. More precisely, Merichas is located around the three sodes of a small bay. North to the village, there is the famous sandy beach of Martinakia.
