Welcome Makrigialos

At 24 km from Ierapetra,

we find picturesque and coastal Makrigialos, at the wonderful bay of Kala Nera. The village has evolved into a tourist resort, thanks to its white big sandy beach and the blue sea. Next to the contemporary church of the village, the excavations have discovered a Minoan Mansion. In the same area, a Roman Mansion was also excavated.
