The village of Loutra Ipatis is built on the slopes of mountain Oiti with the homonymous National Forest covered in oak and plane trees. The settlement is situated only 22km. away from Lamia. The village is an important spa center. The chemical composition of the water is rare, containing a great amount of carbonic acid.
