Likoporia: Northwest of Korinthos and east of the river Derveni on the coast of the Korinthic Gulf there‘s an agricultural vilage. In Lykoporia stands the very important for the proper function of the canal beacon. It’s built on a tower made by metal, 12m high at the entrance of the village. The name means passage of wolves.
