The town of Larissa is one of the most important commercial, industrial and cultural centers of Greece. More precisely, Larissa is the capital city of the Thessaly periphery, with a population of approximately 250,000 inhabitants. The town is outspread on the infinite plain, crossed by the river of Pineios. There are several sightseeing, worth of visiting, including the imposing fortress, the park of Alcazar, the traditional houses at Tabakika and many more.
