Krya Vrissi: The small town of Krya Vrissi, (meaning «Cold Spring» in Greek), is situated 75km. away from Thessaloniki, having a population of approximately 15,000 inhabitants. Every year several cultural events take place here, the most popular one being the annual carnival in February. Another major event is that of the Agrotechnical Expo, (taking place in September), combining both an agricultural exhibit with a funfair.
