The village of Kato Vermio is situated 25km. away from Veria, with a population of no more than 450 inhabitants. It is mainly a winter tourist resort, built at an altitude of 1,400m. The view from the top cannot be described by words. Of particular interest is the gorge of Selio, (5m. long), one of the most beautiful gorges in Greece.
In Kato Vermio, the visitor may find a few hotels, tavernas and cafeterias.
