In the north-western side of Corfu, in distance of 40hlm roughly from the city we find the village Karousades. It is a graphic village that is found in the street to Roda and distinguishes for the traditional architecture of the settlement. It is built in a very beautiful locality. It deserves you to visit and walk in the graphic narrow streets of the village. Karousades have also Band orchestra. It was founded in 1980 and it was Community. In 1999 with the constitution of Municipality of Esperion in which belongs the community of Karousades, became demotic. It numbers 65 roughly musicians and much students, which are taught free of charge crust instruments. Aim of Band is the distribution of musical delivery in the young persons, and also to safeguard the cultural heritage of the island.
