Karfas beach is situated on the south-east side of the island, just 6km. from the port. Karfas sandy beach is the most popular meeting point of all people, with shallow and crystal clear waters. It is approximately 400m. long and 30m. wide and for those wishing to have a good time, there are available various water-sports, such as wind-surfing, canoe etc. The beach has been awarded a flue flag.
