Grikos: The village of Grikos is situated 5km. southeast of Chora, the capital of Patmos. The small sandy beach of Grikos is actually the main organized beach of the settlement. The visitor has the opportunity to enjoy himself at the water sports club of the area. Grikos counts several taverns and hotels.
The village is built on a beautiful bay with a view of the rock of Kalikatsou, (Petra), Tradition says it was a place of hermitage.
