The peaceful village of Glossa is situated on the hillside of the northwestern side of Skopelos. Due to its position, all streets are narrow and steep while all houses follow the traditional architectural style. Of unique beauty are the old Venetian towers looking out across the sea.
At a close distance there is the pebbled beach of Loutraki shaded by plane trees.
