The Filipiada is a beautiful town of the prefecture of Preveza that is built in a nodal point between the Prefectures Preveza, Arta and Ioannina. The Filipiada is identified with the ancient city Haradro, that acme the 7th and 8th century before Christ and the ruins of which are founded in the place Kastri. Her name the Filipiada owes in the love of her residents for the horses. The Filipiada is also acquaintance for the big number of storks that entertains each year. The residents attended to create ideal conditions for the storks and thus the storks roll up to the Filipiada each year and spent their summer in the hospitable city.
