West of Diakofto we will find the location of Eleonas which is a popular touristic resort, gathering every year a big number of visitors as the touristic facilities are very developed in the area. The crystal beach has pebbles and you can enjoy every comfort in Eleonas. On the mountain that lingers above, there is a cave that it is said that belonged to Hercules. Pausanias mentions that inside the cave there is a statue of the mythical hero and gives exact location of the cave, saying that it’s on the way descending from the ancient city Vura, going to the coast and by the river Vuraikos.
