The town of Elassona is situated at the foot of Olympus mountain, having a population of approximately 7,200 inhabitants. Elassona, made up of farmlands and valleys, is flowed by the rivers of Elassonitis and Titarisio, dividing the town into two parts, (the old and the new town). Those parts are connected by four bridges, one of whch is historic, worth of visiting. The settlement offers a great variety of tavernas and cafeterias.
