The capital town of Drama is built on the foot of mountain Falakro, known by the locals as the mountain of flowers. Thanks to the abundant water flowing through the town, the surrounding is very green with numerous tobacco fields.
It has a population of approximately 40,000 inhabitants, being a very significant economic and commercial center.
