Diafani: Diafani is Karpathos’ second port with increasing popularity, 70km. away from the island’s capital. The fishing village with the old windmills is settled below the hilltop village of Olymbos.
Diafani is the perfect place for those seeking peace and Greek hospitality. There are boat trips to various near beaches, even to the inhabited, in the summer only, by shepherds small island of  Saria. Saria was formed after the erosion of its isthmus which opened up the narrow channel between the two parts.
