Daratsos village , 4km from Chania,18km from Airport and 11km from port of Chania. The area is divided in 2 parts, Ano Daratso which is the higher part above the sea level and Kato Daratso which is the lower part by the sea. The fishing  village has about 2000 residents and it is located on the north side of the prefecture, This village was first inhabited by refugees. It’s a pleasant holiday resort and it is located  near  the city of Chania. The area of Daratso is at the west of Chania, next toAghii Apostoli    and Akti Chrisi. It is a holiday resort and attracts during the summer the locals as well .
