
Chrani is a small village surrounded all year by rich flora, approximately 3 km north of Agios Andreas. It’s, 2 km long, beach with pebbles and sand lies on the west coast of the Messenean Gulf.
Chrani can be used as a base for daily excursions to Medieval Koroni on the south, Methoni and Pylos on the west. Also, there is a number of seaside villages worth visiting on the north, like Petalidi and Velika with its beautiful beach, and of course Kalamata, the prefecture’s capital. There are frequent bus services from Kalamata to Koroni and Chrani.
Chrani facilitates mini-markets, cafes, tavernas and beach bars.
