The VILLAGE
In near distance from the city of Corfu, Mpenitses are presented immediately as a small village, but simultaneously and equipped in order to satisfy each need of the visitors. The village mainly is developed at length of street and offers comfort and calm. Between the tourists localities of island of Corfu this is the one that maintains the physiognomy of traditional Greek village. There are still certain old houses and the fishermen in the small harbour. There are still the ruins of old Roman villas and Roman bathrooms
