Batsi: The village of Batsi is situated 27km. to the west of Andros town and it is considered as being one of the most touristy places of  the island. Some years ago Batsi was just a traditional fishing village. Even though the settlement is cosmopolitan, it maintains its traditional colors. Here, the visitor has a great choice of tavernas, hotels, nightclubs and shops.
On the south side, there is a lovely fishing harbor and on the opposite side you can find a beautiful, organized sandy beach with shallow waters, ideal for families with children. There are more beaches to visit, such as Kolona, Stivari and Agia Marina. If you are a water-sports lover, that is the best place to be. The most remote beaches can be approached by boat or by foot.
