Apollonas is an idyllic landscape at the most northern part of the island. More precisely, the fishing village is situated 54km. away from the capital town of Naxos, having a good selection of hotels, tavernas and cafeterias on the beachfront. The beach of Apollonas is a mixture of sand and pebbles. At the mountainside the visitor can admire the famous gigantic kouros, (10,5m. high).
