Apikia: The green village of Apikia is situated on the north side of the island, 5km. from the town of Andros. Here, is the famous spring of Sariza, well-known for its mineral waters. The visitor can also see the traditional houses and the various old stoned bridges.
At a short distance, there are the small waterfalls of Pithara-a picturesque  site. Following the river of Pithara, you shall meet the biggest watermill in all of Balkans.
Apikia has a population of no more than 300 inhabitants.
