Anavyssos is a suburban town in east Attica, situated northwest of Cape Sounion, 50km. away from Athens. With a population of approximately 7,200 inhabitants, it is the largest commune in Greece. The town is surrounded by mountains, offering to the visitor a beautiful beach, ideal for swimming and relaxation. There is a great range of hotels, cafeterias and traditional tavernas.
