Alinda: Alinda is located northwest of Agia Marina and Platanos, the capital of Leros. The bay of Alinda, about 2km. long,  is the most popular in the island and it hosts most of the hotels, restaurants and bars. From there, the visitor can admire the castle of Leros.
Alinda beach, partly with pebbles and sand, is ideal for swimming and windsurfing. At the west side of Alinda lies the long sandy beach of Gourna.
If you come, do not miss visiting the castle of «Bellenos», in front of which, (at the beginning of August), are held the water-sports competitions of the so-called «Alindia».
