The town of Agria is situated 7km. away from Volos. It is a well-known seaside resort full of beachfront tavernas, bars and cafeterias. The settlement offers great clean beaches ideal for swimming and relaxation, while there are various hotels, tavernas and cafeterias to choose from.
Every summer, a number of cultural and artistic events take place here, including the International Guitar Festival and the Fishermen’s Evening, where visitors eat as much free fish as they can.
